Free WLAN at all Starbucks in Switzerland

Starbucks LogoStarbucks Switzerland today announced free WLAN at all their Swiss stores. You will get a login with your order that will work for 30 minutes. This is a requirement to prevent misuse, I understand that there is a business case for selling a coffee every 30 minutes of free surfing, which I find acceptable. Dave will not work w/o coffee more than 5 minutes and he will probably get used to the smaller units that will be the way to go if you need to refill every 30 minutes. For John, I do not know how many Soy Latte you can drink in one go. This number will probably be the limiting factor to the maximum online time. :)

Partner and provider is TPN, The Public Network AG. They promise “better” connectivity than other standard free offerings.

CU for a grande banana java chip light or a triple tall non fat latte… :)

Very good news, indeed. If I get a quad-vente soy latte I figure I should get an hour at least.

How are you going to manage to keep us in the office now?

You should come over and see the new office. Then you will rephrase your question… :)
